This is downtown Athens. One of the best known porticos of the city mainly because of the movie theatre operating here until recently (back in 1947, it opened with the film "Great Expectations"). Now, buried under a small arcade with popular  lively cafeterias and pizza restaurants, and right next to a metro station, the portico's basement floor is deserted and awaiting audiences right in the heart of the city's creative potential. Great expectations?
